That really sucks.. oh yea your not the only one who's art works been deleted... A lot of other artist and very popular artist too.
This BS has got to stop; gee they have no problem taking other's money.. but they start into their little fits of thi (C) right shit... Even though a lot of people take that extra amount of time placing their water marks and (C) from who ever they still do things right... and yet the staff deletes them :steam:

It's bloody ridiculous in my opinion. It really is. It's stupid, it especially effects photo-manipulators, because we photo-manipulators need to do our deviations based on real images to manipulate. People who do fan-art are also affected. I dont know what DA's problem is with it.

Even I was getting shit taken down get this My own characters I created from the drawing how they look and all the way to their Bio. I loved this response... "It's sexist" WTF.. who in the hell is my character Sexist ??
So yea I have no idea what is up with DA but a lot of people are turning away from this so-called popular site... you know... the more they lose the less popular and thus kills DA site!

Make sense to me the way how DA is running this and their failed attempt WITH OUT A COURT ORDER for new set rules.. will only get their asses out of the spot-light for good.

I was told to join in here from a long time buddy here in DA about leaving MM.org to DA that was back in 2004. I joined in here July 2005. Around 2007 and now it's been going down hill. Way too many things and their pathetic rules they cannot make their own with out a COURT ORDER... DUH

in the end I just do my thing in here and I really don't buy crap from DA.. I can get things much cheaper asking other DA members on what site they go & use for their art works, etc for far better prices than DA offers.... Nothing.

That infuriates me as well that you were getting characters of your own creation taken down. I dont know what i'll do. It just angered me that i lost my most popular deviation. I may just make my own site to put my art up and have a link to it posted on my deviantart page. At least that way my work wont be removed unless i choose to. That way i can still do my thing on DA as well.

There's a lot of Anal people out there, most of them not getting their way. Other than that yes I too get pissed off when I see a very few of my popular art works stolen from art thieves or worse getting deleted for strange purpose.

As long as it is an individuals work of art (not for sale or anything like that) then it is legal.
silly badgers need to go back to school and learn their shit. :/
I say re-submit it with a little disclaimer somewhere.
